7. Yeah Yeah Yeahs- Fever to Tell
8. Mars Volta- Deloused in the Comatorium
9. Greg Laswell- Good Movie
10. Ray LeMontagne- Trouble
Missed it by that much: The new Reeve Oliver LP; Matt Pond PA; Buzzkill
Romantics; old and new Centromatic-only cuz nothing was actually
released in 2004,
Songs I Still Love: "Light Up Ahead", Further Seems Forever; That first
Franz Ferdinand song that ISN'T "This Fire". What IS the name... Who
cares, really.
Favorite Showings by Bands I was Ignorant of- Matt Pond PA at the
Casbah; John Vanderslice at Casbah (How'd I ever miss this guy?! Oh
yeah, I don't go out.)
Biggest Disappointment That Turned Around After Hearing Their Great
Album: Keane. Couldn't handle 'em live, even though I was standing in
O's Spot and the drummer was set up right there and he was an affable
bloke. Turns out they're made to play much bigger. Maybe At 4th and
B? Who can say...
CATORCE MINUS FOUR FAVES in vague order
1. Danger Mouse-The Gray Album
2. Beastie Boys-To The 5 Boroughs
3. Smoosh-She Like Electric
4. Old 97's-Drag It Up

10. Les Shelleys-Volume 2
MORE THAN WORTH MENTIONING: Air, Bad Credit, Blind Boxers, Bunky, Camera Obscura, Ditty Bops, Louis XIV, Modest Mouse, Elliott Smith, Stereolab and, um, Rookie Card
A FEW MONTHS LATE ON THE BANDWAGON: Calexico, Bart Davenport, MC5 (& lots of it), Out Brief Candle, Wufus Wainwight
WEALLY GOOD TUNES: "Give You" (Joanie Mendenhall), "Rock Out" (Secret Apollo), anything by Assault Shaker or Day & Age.
STUPIDEST COUNT-IN EVER: Bono, puh-lease.
